Dave Edwards:BSc(Hons) GradDip/M-Arch
A London based Architectural Designer, With an interest in the impact of digital design techniques on both design and fabrication. I also am interested in the integration of new environmental systems to create
adaptive fabrics resulting in new typologies and forms of space within the urban realm.
I have lived and worked in London for five years, working on a number of high profile projects within the city
for a number of award winning offices. I completed my GradDip/ M Arch (RIBA II) at The Bartlett School of Architecture in 2010 gaining a commendation in Design for my Thesis Project Entitled The LA Forum & Library of the Four Ecologies.
Previously I had worked in Birmingham for a year and completed my Undergraduate BSc Hons at the University of Bath in 2007 with a first class honours degree.
In addition to working I have exhibited my projects internationally including at the Royal Academy of Art and the Venice Biennale, and most recently in New York and Zagreb.
In the past year my work has also featured on over a dozen online design sites including dezeen, and been in a number of printed magazines. I am currently working for ACME architecture based in Shoreditch and am studying for my ARB/RIBA part III
at the Bartlett School of Architecture. I have also been an invited speaker at international conferences and guest critic at UCL, University of Westminster, and Oxford Brookes.
